Privacy notice

Duvatec LLC (Utah, United States) runs this site. This describes what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written from what the site actually does, not from what these documents usually say.
What we collect, and when
From the contact form: your name, email, company, phone if you enter one, your message, the page you wrote from, and the campaign parameters in the URL if you arrived from an ad or a search.
From the chat assistant: the messages you type, the language, your browser, and an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address. We store the fingerprint, not the address: it exists to catch abuse, not to identify you.
From analytics, and only if you accept: pages viewed and actions taken on the site, through Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. Choose essential only and neither tool loads.
What we use it for
To reply to you. A contact form nobody answers is pointless, and that is the main use of everything you send us.
To improve the assistant. We read conversations to find out what visitors ask and what it failed to answer. We do not use them to profile anyone.
To measure whether our advertising works, with your consent only.
Who it is shared with
Nobody beyond what delivering the service requires. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to advertising brokers.
The providers involved are our hosting and our email provider, and, only if you accepted analytics, Google and Meta. Each handles data under its own terms.
Where it lives and for how long
In a SQL Server database on our hosting, on servers in the United States.
Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship makes sense. Assistant conversations are kept while they remain useful for improving it. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we do it: there is no form and no process to go through.
If you wrote to us from California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah or another state with its own privacy law, those rights are yours by statute. We apply them wherever you write from.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child wrote to us, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this notice we update the date above. Anything significant we will announce on the site itself.
